
My name is Peggy and I have been a Dental Hygienist for over 35 years. I am originally from Long Island and moved to Fredericksburg 25 years ago with my husband and 2 daughters. I have worked with Dr. Teller for 19 years and will continue at Locust Grove Dental Care with Dr. Hagar and Dr. Teller. I consider our patients my friends and work to have a great rapport with them and help them maintain their teeth for their entire life.

Dr. Hugh Teller received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in 1990.
In 1991, he received a Certificate in Advanced General Dentistry from the University of Maryland at Baltimore School of Dentistry.
In 2010, Dr. Teller completed the Craniofacial Pain Mini-Residency Program through the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain (AACP), a professional dental association dedicated to studying and treating head and facial pain, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders, snoring and sleep apnea.
In 2012, Dr. Teller became a Fellow of the AACP. Using non-surgical techniques, Dr. Teller has relieved many patients of TMJ pain, headaches, snoring and sleep apnea. Dr. Teller is an adjunct professor in the Germanna Community College Dental

Dr. Basiony Hagar attended a general practice residency at Berkshire Medical Center in Massachusetts, affiliated with Tufts Dental School in 2007 through 2008. Dr. Hagar received his certification in implant placement in 2010 and has been placing and restoring implants. In 2011, Dr. Hagar was certified as an Invisalign premier provider.
Dr. Hagar prides himself in being a gentle and caring dentist that practices all aspects of cosmetic dentistry with special care for patients with an aversion to dental treatments.

Cara has been our lead assistant for two years, and brought 20 years of experience with her! Cara is passionate about dentistry and loves seeing patients confidence restored after their treatment is completed. She enjoys seeing the excitement and expression on her patients faces. Outside of the office she is a loving wife as well as the busy mom of her 9 year old son. He plays baseball which keeps their family busy! Cara is her son’s biggest fan and loves nothing more than seeing him play. GO NATS!

Kailey came to our office in 2020. After seeing her mother work in the dental field her entire life she decided this was also the field she wanted to pursue. Kailey received her x-ray certification and ambitiously dove into the dental world! She spends every minute of her free time with her ten month old baby girl. Her favorite place to be is where ever her daughter is! Kailey is very excited to grow with Locust Grove Dental Care and to continue delivering the exceptional care to the community.

Chelsea joined our office in 2020 and brings 9 years of experience with her. She started as a dental assistant but now specializes in finances and insurance. She really enjoys meeting all of the wonderful patients at Locust Grove Dental Care and looks forward to working with Dr. Teller and Dr. Hagar for years to come! She married her high school sweet heart and they share three very energetic children. Chelsea loves spending all of her free time with her family in the backyard or at the lake. She is very happy to be serving the community that she grew up in!

Hello, My name is Sylvie I am the office manager at Locust Grove Dental Care. I have been in the dental field for 38 years starting off as an assistant and with my fondness of dealing with people, I moved to the front office where enjoy helping the patients.
I have enjoyed working in this practice for the last 16 years. I am excited to continue working with Dr. Teller two days a week and I am looking forward to working with Dr. B. Hagar two days a week. I am very excited that this practice I care for so much will be able to serve this community’s every dental need. I moved here with my husband 16 years ago, from No. VA. My husband is a native of Culpeper and I have enjoyed the people of this area.
We have a great church family and good friends. In my off time, I enjoy my dogs, cats and helping people. I love the beach and we escape to the outer banks for weekends whenever possible. It is my pleasure to continue to serve this community through Locust Grove Dental Care and to help patients in any way possible.
